What is Platelet Rich Plasma?

Is PRP safe?

How is PRP used?

Our bodies regenerate themselves all the time. By careful injection using a concentration of your blood, Dr. Esparza MD can treat a variety of musculoskeletal conditions with your own natural growth factors.

Right before your procedure Dr. Esparza MD will draw a small amount of blood and spin it in a centrifuge to separate the red blood cells from the plasma. The plasma is further condensed to isolate the autologous platelets which are injected into the site of pain or injury.
